31 December 2020 after the end of the transitional UK withdrawal period, the requirements for payment orders when payments are made between the EU and the UK change. From 1 January 2021 when making payment service providers execute cross-border SEPA credit transfers between an EU Member State and the UK, payment orders will be required to indicate the payer's address in addition to other necessary information. Failure to provide this information may result in payment disapproval or other issues.
